Naming Conventions
- No specific naming convention is required for electronic plans; however, special characters cannot be used in file names.
- File names should be self-explanatory.
- It is preferred that you bundle files into subsets (e.g., “mechanical plans,” “plumbing plans,” “structural plans”) instead of one large file or individual pages/sheets. The size limit for each individual attachment is 30 MB.
Fire Protection / Sprinkler Plans
- No separate plan review is needed.
- Submit fire protection/sprinkler plans via email to permits@townofsmyrna.org .
- These plans will be reviewed along with the building plans.
