Property Maintenance
The Property Maintenance division’s purpose is to ensure that all buildings and premises in the Town of Smyrna are maintained to the minimum standards described in the Town's codes and ordinances. This is done to help protect our resident's health and safety, as well as property values.
The most common issues that the division deals with are:
High grass (over 12” in height).
Improper storage of vehicles.General maintenance and upkeep of buildings.
The primary Municipal Ordinances that address Property Maintenance are:
Title 13: Property Maintenance Regulations.
Title 15: Motor Vehicles, Traffic and Parking.International Property Maintenance Code (2018 edition).
