Town Attorney’s Office

The Town Attorney’s Office provides legal advice and counsel to Town officials and departments, ensuring operations comply with applicable laws and regulations. The office prepares ordinances, resolutions, contracts, and other documents, while also representing the Town in litigation.

The Town Attorney is a full-time staff member who works closely with the Mayor, Town Manager, Town Council, and all Town departments, boards, and committees. Responsibilities include interpreting laws, drafting official documents, and managing litigation involving the Town.

Citizens often have questions about Town regulations. The Municipal Code contains all ordinances passed by the Town Council and includes topics such as traffic regulations, parking, fireworks, and animal control.
