What is the Smyrna Mobility Plan?
The Town of Smyrna’s Mobility Plan addresses long term needs for all users of the transportation system, including drivers, cyclists, walkers, and trucks.
What does the Smyrna Mobility Plan do?
- Identifies areas where the Town has seen significant growth, where it is anticipated in the future, and how it will impact transportation.
- Identifies road improvements to address existing and future congestion and connectivity.
- Creates a plan for comfortable and connected walkways and bikeways.
- Improves safety for all roadway users.
- Creates a long-term plan for transportation priorities and implementation.
How is the Mobility Plan developed?
Everyone participates in the planning process, which extends through the Spring of 2025 and will include Town staff, elected officials and community leaders, stakeholders and business owners, and residents.
