Our Mission to Our Customers

  • To provide an adequate supply of safe water and treatment of sanitary sewer as regulated by TDEC and EPA.
  • To supply natural gas as regulated by the Tennessee Public Utility Commission, DOT, and the Office of Pipeline Safety.
  • To provide customer service in a timely and courteous manner.
  • To provide accurate and timely billing.
  • To adjust rates as necessary to ensure revenues offset expenditures.
  • To plan for future growth and utility infrastructure.
  • To provide contingency and emergency plans so that when you call 911 a service technician will be dispatched.

Natural Gas Safety – Remember

  • Natural gas is colorless, odorless, and non-toxic. An odorant with a “rotten eggs” smell is added for your protection.
  • If you smell natural gas, leave the premises or area immediately.
  • Do not operate any electrical switches or other spark producers.
  • During business hours (Mon–Fri, 8:00–4:30) call: 615-355-5742
  • After hours and weekends, call: 615-459-6644 or 911, and a service technician will be dispatched.
